Realize they're wack - Common. I feel his sentiments completely. People who know me know me as a Journalist, Photographer, Poet, Revolutionary, Angry black man, or whatever other label they've given me lol but not many know me as an Emcee. They ask "since when you been spittin'?" or "what made you want to rap?" and my explanation is frankly. TOO MANY NIGGAS IN THE GAME SUCK! I feel like the game, hip-hop culture, the essence and us as people are completely misrepresented. There are cats who are just in the game for the money, to buy platinum chains and whatever other bullshit they don't need. Now mind you, I'm not a hater, that shit's cool or whatever I guess, I'm simply stating that them niggas SUCK, it wouldn't matter that much to me if they were actually talented, or passionate about their craft, but them niggas SUCK! There's more wack cats in the game than good cats
I on the other hand do not suck, I know i spit 10x better than a lot of these cats, so I figure hey JAH made me a multi-talented person, so why not let my light shine and utilize all those talents, it'd be a crime for me not to. Me and other artists in the DMV are next up a bat, I feel like we can change the game 'cause with the way things are looking now, if you're not really spittin' you can't come through the door after us 'cause you're gonna get SHITTED ON! My mission with this rap shit is to constantly get better, never fall off, and just keep making good music. From the feedback I've been getting it's looking like I'm doing just that, Ya boy was gettin love in France! WTF? LOL so yea, there's your explanation.
and I know I've said this a billion times but I'm gonna try and update this shit some more, I need better time management skills as my queen would say lol anyways I'm outty 5-thous.
